There are few events that one can truly define as life-changing, but the Real Entrepreneur seminar - The Journey Begins Now - is one of the few.

I attended Brian Walsh's seminar in February at a time when my young business was really struggling. I was at an all-time low emotionally. Several factors beyond my control were threatening to wipe out both my creative spirit and my business.

When I saw the seminar advertised I just knew I had to attend, even though our dismal cash flow situation did not make provision for any extras. The experience proved to be just the kick-under-the-butt catalyst that I needed to get me back on track.

The seminar is jam-packed with information, thought-provoking realisms about what it takes to be an entrepreneur, and practical exercises. Beware - they force you to take a long, sometimes painful look at yourself, your ideas and attitudes.

Brian intersperses the valuable seminar material with his own quotes and stories, which makes it much easier to see the bigger picture.

The essence of Brian's success as a presenter is his openness, matter-of-fact approach and refreshing honesty. Brian is able to engage easily with other entrepreneurs because he's been there, done that and got the T-shirt. He's not afraid to talk about his own failures and personal challenges. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, and it shows. That in itself gave me hope for my own business.

Since the seminar, I have been able to implement several of the recommended actions. But for me, the greatest value lay in how this seminar jettisoned me into changing my mindset.
